A wonderfully refined Brazil is grown in the hills of the Serra da Mantiqueira in Carmo de Minas at Santa Rita de Cássia Farm. These beans are a true single origin from a family owned farm operated by Carlos Henrique, and daughter Dani Alkmin. Carlos purchased the farm back in 1983, and has expanded slowly through the years.
This yellow honey process is roasted to a beautiful medium-dark roast level that has flavor notes of honey granola with nuts, apple, and dark chocolate.
Works great for a variety of brew methods from french press to pods to drip. We have especially loved making this as a tasty espresso which has a long bittersweet finish with a milky body. We've also really enjoyed this single origin Brazil as pour over, where it brings out the natural honey sweetness.
